Clare Arena Haden

Clare is a Wisconsin native and is Teaching Faculty in the Theatre & Drama Dept at UW-Madison where she earned her MFA in Acting with an emphasis in voice and speech. She teaches a course called Acting Skills for Life, encouraging students from all disciplines and backgrounds to grow in their communication skills using actor training techniques. She does private coaching and teaches workshops across campus, including at the School of Human Ecology.
She has worked professionally as an actor, voice and speech coach, and teaching artist for Forward Theater, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, American Players Theatre, Theatre LILA, Children’s Theater of Madison, Whoopensocker, and Four Seasons Theatre to name a few. Wisconsin is home, and that’s where she likes to be.
For FTC, Clare has appeared in Artemisia, Mary Jane, Fun Home, Outside Mullingar, and Silent Sky.
She resides in Sun Prairie with her incredible and supportive family and is forever grateful to be a storyteller. Thank you for supporting live theater!
